- If you haven't invested time and money in a craft or trade and plied that craft in the private sector than you need an education. Excuse some of us taxpayers if we appear unsympathetic to the value you place on your craft and the importance of your recession proof job. At the same time listening to the ever steady cry of more, more, more money to make things better.

- All this coming from an educator who has lived off the public trough his entire life. It is no surprise then that this article blames republicans for educations problems. Not every kid is cut out for college but we have made it possible for almost anyone including illegals to gain access to that education. And please forgive the taxpayers for asking for some responsibility from the citizenry that they repay their loans. Student debt at 1 trillion is a disgrace and it's not the fault of the taxpayers or republicans.

- I could be wrong but I don't feel that legalizing gay marriage will bring about the same joy and fulfillment as a hetero marriage. It is a different physiology that isn't designed for natural consummation or completion. My thought is that you can't take something that is different and make it the same as something else.
