- Making assumptions based only on ethnic attributes, such as surnames, can be percieved as racist logic. By making those types of assumptions others can also extrapolate with some degree of accuracy that those making the offending comment MUST be the consumate a$$h0le.

- I completely agree, more and more companies want people who are ready to "hit the ground running". why should they have to bear the burden of training someone? "Why should we train someone only to have them go work for someone else?" Answer... Pay them a livable wage, show them some respect. Show them that you truly care about them as human beings. Maybe if That happened we would see a decrease in crime and ignorance in general.

- Let he who is without sin cast the first stone! I believe that quote was attributed to the man himself. That said, if your a beleiver, shut your mouths, and go back to saving souls or whatever it is you do when your not busy denigrating other peoples behavior, If your not a beleiver, remember the prhase " those who live in glass house should not throw stones".If you dont live in glass houses, meet me on State st. around 7, we'll grab a 40, spark a fattie, and cruise for whores! - Can we take solace in the fact that we dont have to notify anyone else's family that their hardworking father or loving mother or a busload of tourists an innocent child or grandmother was killed by someone driving the wrong way on an expressway? Yeah I know I'm an a-hole for bringing it up!

- If you had told me 20 years ago that newspapers wouldn't be printed on paper, I wouldn't have believed it! It has always been my belief that television should have been a medium for higher education, unfortunately it was used only cursory to those ends. However now, some highly respected universities are offering lectures on-line, opening the educational experience to substantially more diverse population. College admission requirements and selection preccesses are still being used decide which of us are worthy of higher education, when in fact we all could benifit from additional edification. Stop the traditional concepy that you have "finished" your education once you have successfully acquired a degree. Education should be openly oncourage to ALL regargless of sex, race or ability!

- I wonder how many people will turn to money making businesses models that dont involve education or experience in any particular field? Our prisons are bulging with people unable to conform to society's expectation of model citizens. Employers no longer believe it is their responsibility to train, nurture, and retire to pasture their workforce. No more apprenticeships, free health care benefits, or pension programs. Those ideas are long gone, and the people long used to those concepts are fast dissappearing, and this is exactly what industry has been waiting for, to relieve themselves of those long term commitments. Unfortunatley nothing has been put into place to provide for these new difficientcies. Conform! Don't drop out of high school! (insert figure of drop out rate here) Don't fall in love and have a baby! (insert figure for unwed teens here) Don't smoke or drink alcohol!( insert figure for lung cancer and alcoholism here). Conform! And if you dont, we have just the place for you! Prison! Where someone Will teach you a few new things! Like Strongarm Robbery, Burgrally, Shoplifting, Auto Theivery, Dope Dealing ect. Alot of openings there. Always hiring, no resume needed, and best of all, no experience neccessary!
