What happened? Too many politicians threaten to stop giving you money and fluff to fill your pages because they didn't like their dirty laundry posted in the comments? That was the great thing about the comment section- shedding light on the politicians that we throw our tax money at. I'm sorry that the anonymous people in the comment section sometimes do a better job than your reporters. Your articles often leave us stumped, and asking questions- and we can almost always find the answers in the comments. Government Censorship at its finest. It gave people a chance to flex their 1st Amendment rights without fear of retaliation, without lugnuts flying through their windows and their tires being slashed. I think the Times is jealous that they are in the pockets of so many, and we are free to really tell it like it is.

And yet he keeps getting voted in. He's been in office longer than any of 'em. He must be doing something right! Even the little name game trick Team McDermott tried to pull getting his nephew of the same name to run against him didn't work. So if he's so awful, why does he keep getting elected?
