the new covenant is about god's righteousness...........in christ we have died to the law (had to die to the law)to be raised into the realm of servingng of his spirit, his love(god is love).

its interesting that after 2000 years believers still do not understand that they are no longer under regulation(old covenant) as in deut 28 where obedience to the law(our guardian) was about man's righteousness. in christ we are under the new covenant and no longer have a guardian. we have in christ died to what gives no life, the law, to be raised into the realm ng of his spirit, his love(god is love). under the new, spirit his spirit, his love accounts for everything, physicalities account for nothing. for 2000 years the body of christ has slowly been weaning themselves off the law(abandoning the practice of penances, ethnic slavery, antisemetism, burning witches at the stake, persecuting homosexuality, blue laws, certain eating practices, discrimination against non believers, ethnic slavery, discrimination against women, physicality standards about marriage, etc.
