The "STATE" has nothing to do with this project. It is a partnership with the City of East Chicago and a "PRIVATE" Company! The State would rather give $100 Million to the Private for Profit Company that runs the Indianapolis Speedway.

First... No Local Union Delegates went to Pittsburgh to help count the votes. Second... Seeing that the USW Main Office is in Pittsburgh and the fact that the Contract was voted on was for all ArcelorMittal Mills not just Indiana Harbor so why would'nt the ballots not go to Pittsburgh. As for the 94% YES vote... In my 20 plus years in Trade Unions that is pretty much the normal Yes to No ratio.
