  1. Ask the 50 or so members who were there and read the paper and talk about this daily

  2. which in its self is a contradiction to everything you said. For a man who is supposed to uphold ethics and morals in his every day duties, he lies about taking credit for something in which he had no part in. I appreciate real heros who indeed DO save lives and do their job, but that is exactly what this individual did not and is now making statements in a public paper about how he did. If the officer thought the most important thing was the individual beign alive and well, he would have went and visited him in the hospital or maybe yet......WOULDNT HAVE called the paper to report a story on how he saved a life! Sounds pretty selfish and not SELFLESS like you said

  3. This article couldn’t be more far from the truth. I was there the night this happened and when the police officer and the paramedic WALKED through the gym, they did nothing. If it wasn't for a few of the members and the manager giving CPR, as well as a nurse who happened to be working out who administered the AED, the man would not be here. While all this was going on, myself as well as all the members watched as the police officer and paramedic did nothing. Myself as well as the members at charter were so disgusted in the lack of urgency and professionalism of the police officer and paramedic. I will never forget that day or the events that took place and I can certainty account for what happened. I thank God for those members and those that worked there that night for saving that young man’s life. He is alive and doing well.
