- We left Lincoln Garden's 11 years ago and did go far south to Jasper County. Nowhere is perfect but at least the crime here is very minimal. The only bad part is the commute because all of the decent paying jobs are either in Lake County or Cook County, IL., but I agree, it is not safe to live there anymore.

- This boy passed away from his injuries. The house he lived in is on my sisters' street and it is right around the corner from Salk School, in fact you can see the school from the side of the house. This is so sad and scary.

- I don't get it, why does EVERYTHING have to come back to politic's? This incident has absolutely nothing to do with a right side or a left side, it is about a man who made threats in a movie theater. What does the NRA or the president have to do with this occurance? None of them were there. So tired of anything and everything being made a political topic. Just comment about what actually occured and place blame on the actual person who commited the crime.

- Ughhhh....... we just call the roundabouts, "The circles of death"...Lol They are pretty, but so confusing sometimes. The one on Vale Park is easy to get through and the landscaping is pleasant to the eye, but the new roundabout going in at the five points might end up being a mess. I'd rather drive a straight road personally, but that's just my opinion.

- The farm subsides were meant to help the small family farmers, which needed the help. Unfortunately, the Big Ag Factory Farmers tapped into that program. The did it in Jasper County. They did a lot in Jasper County and are continuing to do a lot. Not many see the dark side of how Big Ag works. Small farms work hard to make an honest living, but Big Ag squeezes them out, it's a shame. Lot's of angry people in Jasper County who were done wrong by the county. Turning off their microphones during a public forum is just one example of blatent disrespect to the people of this county because Big Ag dumps a lot of money into political elections down here. They DO NOT deserve any more free money from the government! Give it back to the family farmers!
