  1. Really... First off, hes a good kid but not a 4 year varsity starter. His old man is trying to live out his dreams through his son. Highland made a huge mistake by hiring Trent Grider. Only someone who doesnt really know the program would disagree with this statement. Ken bye as an athletic director should've never allowed such a politically biased decision to be made.
His former record should have been enough to make him unsuitable for the head coaching position. Highland tax payer hit it right on the head. It's time the Highland school board pulls their heads out of the dirt and makes a move to remove Trent Grider as head coach. These stats are not the least bit impressive and I could only imagine how much his old man payed the paper to put this in there. It also doesnt suprise me that he was allowed to be on the field as a three year old, seems thats the way of the whole family considering his mom is on the sideline every week. You do not see the other boy's moms out there when they are playing. It's unjust and not fair to the other boys. It's time that some real decisions are made and we get an actual coach in there to give these boys a chance. As a Highland resident I would hate to see another generation of Highlands finest boys be lead by an outsider that gives his son a four year spot that clearly didnt earn it. yours truly, Ex highland athlete
