  1. I agree that the traffic is terrible and will probably get worse. But if it creates some jobs for those who have been out of work, I'm all for it. I'll get stuck in the gridlock on my way to and from work if it means putting food on someones table.

  2. I just want my car repaired, that's all. I know BP won't be reimbursing me anytime soon. Just going to get it fixed and hope for the best.

  3. I began calling BP as soon as my car showed symptoms. It took me 2 days to actually talk to someone who assured me that someone would call me back "soon". I waited 2 more days for a call but never received one. I began calling again and after waiting on hold for almost an hour I was finally able to file a claim and told, once again, that someone would be calling me back. I received a message today about my claim and was told to call an 800 number. It turns out that the number given to me was to a call center that was hired by BP. They weren't able to help me out and even admitted that they had no idea why I was told to call their number since I already had a claim number. I then called BP's corporate office in Texas and was told that there was nothing they could do about my problem and that I would just have to wait until I am contacted. My vehicle is 3 months old and I am unable to drive it. I work and drive from NW Indiana to Chicago every day. When I told BP corporate that my car wasn't driveable, their response was, "I don't know what to tell you". Thanks BP for caring so much!

  5. Barney16 - I LOVE your skating rink and have already heard cars beeping as they pass. This family who lives on Walnut (Rogers or Roberts) are nuts!!!! They have ticked off every neighbor on the block and am sure they're not done yet. They need to leave everyone alone and mind their own business. Nobody's backyard sports arenas are bothering them nor were they meant to. I'm afraid to barbecue in my yard now! However, I did notice that today (garbage day) that theres was the ONLY house on the block that still had their trash cans out...can I file a complaint???? It made the neighborhood look like a trailer park.
