- I do not think Dustins father attempted to help him conceal any crime. The fact that he is a police officer just raises peoples suspicion and the accusation made by an inmate.Naturally the authorities have to look into it.I do know that we as parents do not know what are children may do someday.If one of my children committed a crime like this it would destroy me. Any of us could be in this position someday. You just don't know.I just don't feel like we should kick him when he's down and I'm not afraid to say it.It could be any of us in this horrible position
