Sadly, there are many people who are unemployed. The overwhelming majority of those people are NOT roughing up and robbing the elderly!
As for the one work/three watch rule---Have you ever looked at the guys working 150+ feet in the air???? They are not up there socializing.
It's not about what they do, it's about what you can get a jury to believe they did and say GUILTY.
Come on people, this isn't the wild west! The guy shot at her. You know what that will get you????? 3 HOTS & a COT! Oh yeah, and an introduction to BUBBA, his new cellie.
If you are at all familiar with the specs of a typical Aldon home of that time you can easily see that he went well beyond the specs from the beginning---thereby over improving for the neighborhood, putting himself at risk for the very thing he is complaining about. Ironic, isn't it?
Nobody likes it, but it's a cold hard reality of the housing recession that builder/developers that have empty lots must design homes to appeal to the buyers that are willing and able to buy new homes in the midst of the worst recession since the Great Depression. Lake and Porter County are filled with subdivisions of homes that started out with higher dollar homes and ended up with homes that cost less to build--but would sell...and are still very attractive homes that anyone would be proud to own!
The simple fact of the matter is that the original homeowners in Fieldstone Crossing would have lost MORE value if those lots had sat empty. Nobody is happy about the value of their homes due to the recession. The value on my home has gone down nearly $60,000 since 2008!!! I, however, am not filing frivolous lawsuits against my neighbors----who are good, hardworking people that had nothing to do with my losses. I simply put my big girl panties on and take one day at a time, knowing that this crazy economic recession can't last forever. End of rant.
