  1. J Bird, They took away from education and schools had to tighten their belts; now the state legislators are wanting to add back $380 Million.

  2. I disagree with a Constitutional Convention. Yes. It is true that the Constitution provides for it. However, when we have a majority of legislators and 'We the People' that don't know and understand the written US Constitution, having a Constitutional Convention could be detrimental to our Constitution.

Anything goes. There are no limitations. The US Constitution could literally be abolished.

Can the federal government constitutionally direct action directly on states? NOWHERE in the federal Constitution does it say that the federal gov't can tell the state gov't what to do. (The US Constitution only says that the state gov't cannot pass laws that are contradictory to federal statute. Article VI).

Therefore, the federal gov't cannot come into Indiana and direct action upon Indiana. They cannot make Indiana implement healthcare exchanges here in our state. This doesn't apply JUST to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

We ask that Senator Dave Long re-consider his position on calling for a Constitutional Convention.

Until we have statesman legislating from our Statehouses across the Nation, it is dangerous!

  3. If you want a candidate that will represent the US Constitution, then you need to vote for Andrew Horning.

Richard Mourdock is going to repeal the healthcare law & then what? Replace it he says. He says it is unconstitutional - which it is. Wouldn't repealing and then replacing it with something else still be UNCONSTITUTIONAL?

Please if you are undecided or think you have decided, please take one last look at Andrew Horning. He is the libertarian candidate running for Indiana's US Senate.

  4. In response to SvilleChris's post, actually all local, state & federal officeholder's job description is to uphold and defend the US Constitution. When each officeholder swears in, they 'swear' to uphold the US Constitution. The problem in Washington is a reflection of 'We the People'. Because the constituent wants the government to listen to their interest rather than what powers are enumerated by the Constitution.

I will be voting for Andrew Horning because he is the candidate that will uphold and defend the US Constitution. Please check out his website at: http://horningforsenate.com/

  5. Vote NO to retain Justice Steven David this November 6, 2012.

  6. Article reads, "The Indiana Bar Association polled its members, and they recommend these judges remain on the court."

Funny that is. Attorneys cannot speak out against judges (or face disbarment), so you know that the poll would reveal just that. By using that line in your article, you have done away with all credibility. Should have left that out and maybe we could have found article useful. Not now.
