Excuses, excuses. Its not that difficult or time consuming to cook a healthy meal. The problem is it is not convenient, its easier to pick-up, or heat up, than cook.

  4. Bring a chair and enjoy the music for 12 hours. They are in the Freshmen Center parking lot everyday this week from 8:00 a.m to 8:00 pm. So come on out and enjoy the metronome and the repatition of sections of a song, until they get it right. If they don't then you get to hear them being yelled at over the P.A. System. Poor Abby didn't do to well yesterday.

  6. Show up at the Town Council meeting this Thursday, and tell the Town Council how you feel. The Town Council has no problem changing and ignoring variances for commercial properties, but when it comes to homeowners, they aren't as flexible. And just so you know the BZA Board is not elected, they are chosen, so you cannot vote them out.

  7. The only noise they deal with now is the band. With a road going in place where the track is and a bus staging area directly behind the school, don't you think they deserve a sound barrier of some sort. The 3 story building is going to trap and amplify the sound coming from all the traffic, buses and band.

    Dark Cloud "It might be time for the disgruntled residents to move, and allow some eager young new families to move in. They will be happy with their new home." Sure they would in your mind maybe. So far 4 houses are up for sale and none have sold. Where's these new anxious families???

  8. Yes the was and has been there for a long time, sitting closer to U. S 41. Now the new construction is going to be placed more toward the back of the property. Big difference. Were the current track is, is where the road is going to be going around the school. If you have ever been back behind the school, you can see how close they will be to those homes. They are not being unreasonable in the things they are requesting. With a 3 story building going up, the sound from the band is going to be trapped and amplified, it has no where to go but out, not up or spread out.
