- In reading all of these comments, I sit here and laugh at you people. Really who cares about OSHA!! I would more interested in knowing how the injured man was doing, and saying thank God for the Firefighters who rescued him! Like the article said, a person usually doesn't make it through an accident like this. Sounds like God was by his side. Fast Ed needs to stop being so critical toward other people and act like he knows EVERYTHING!

- For all you Pit Bull haters out there, oh look, a shepherd-chow mix!! See it's not always a Pit Bull! If this was a Pit Bull attack, I'm sure there would be a lot more comments here. On a more important note, I hope that the little boy is OK. I hope he's not left scarred for life. I feel the man should be charged with animal cruelity. Taking the animal and having it put down would have been a much better way. Some animals get very protective about their food or toys. Again, we don't know all the facts.

- I'm sorry but I think I would have changed the lock myself, called the landlord and told him not to worry about it, and gave hime a copy of the key. You're living in East Chicago without locking your doors! Not a very smart thing. Your house was just waiting to get robbed! They said there wasn't any forced entry, no kidding, he had it easy! Asking the landlord to fix it NUMEROUS times tells me it's been broke for sometime. If you don't care about what happens to yourself, at least care about your children! I bet CPS would love this story!
