- Right, John Ervin, the "independent consultant" hired by the Town of Ogden Dunes AFTER a legal action was filed against the Town and DNR challenging the validity of the permit. John Ervin, employed as a Regional Ecologist for the DNR, one of the defendants in the action. No bias or conflict of interest there, right? Spent 6 hours in Suerenity Park observing the effects of deer overgrazing--in an area that had been baited to lure in deer for the cull for two months prior. Right.
