Why was the business unlocked at this time...thinking there is a training manual that states that the doors shouldn't be open at this time....Does the store have cameras...something smells here....

Dazed and confused! Something sounds out of sorts with the entire story.....IF the "wife" escaped SATURDAY to go and buy beer....why didn't she call the police then for her friend, who was being held hostage, by a man with a knife? No calls and no help until MONDAY? Also, wasn't ANYONE...ANYONE??? looking for the woman who left her husband...for two weeks? Just doesn't add up.....

So, WE "the residents of Porter County" give the new "FOR PROFIT" hospital a huge tax abatement.....they have a "garage sale" of items that we've already paid for as citizens of Porter County....then the funds raised from the sale of the items previously purchased by the citizens are going back to the for profit hospital??? Something smells here!!!

The stuff that was sold was considered junk by the new hospital, otherwise, it would have been taken to the new facility. Why not take the proceeds and donate back to the community....homeless shelters, seniors facilities, Hill Top Housing, and equally well deserving groups.

There was an article in a recent issue of the NWITimes regarding a 2.9 million dollar facility for the county's animal shelter. There is no need for a 2.9 million dollar animal housing facility. Use these funds to house the inmates.
