Trimcosts, if in fact you are in HR, might I suggest you read the EEOC guidelines for disabled workers as you seem to be missing some very important details pertaining to job restructuring and reasonable accommodations.

James Piunti is a victim of a deal between Dominguez and his father. He was put into a highly trusted position to handle very sensitive information. Given the criminal activity of those that served under Roy Dominguez's leadership it is understandable that ANY sheriff coming in would not allow him to continue in this position. He did not fire the kid, he moved him to another department. It is sad that he has a disability that is prohibiting him from handling his new responsibilities but he knew the risks when he agreed to the deal that his father made for him. This is not an EEOC case but a case of political favors that ended as most do when there is a changing of the guard.

Mr. Mayor, might I suggest your next selection of Chief of Police and his assistant be required to undergo a series of “test” before putting them into these positions. Perhaps if you would have required the chief to take a physiological test and his assistant an IQ test you would not be in this position.

Cooper called action taken by White against Homoky as having no basis but "purely vindictive and an effort to cover up an illicit affair with a third person."

Do tell Mr. Cooper, is the Chief of Hobart Police stepping out with someone's wife? Or perhaps he is covering for one of his favored troops? When is Mayor Snedecor going to say enough? I see yet another embarrassing blemish coming for your selected chief of staff Mr. Mayor.
