  4. @pieway.....This mother (Sue Rockey) had been buying and giving her daughter (Lisa) drugs for years. When you give your daughter money for drugs to get high and the money and drugs run out, it's only natural the GEEKING stage starts. the daughter only did what was normal for her, and that was to go get more money from mom to buy more drugs. I admit that assaulting your mother is not something any daughter should do, but buying drugs for your daughter is not something a mother should do either. This mother brought this all on herself.

  5. Yes it will happen again! And again I have no sympathy for either one of them. I am my fathers daughter, and that's my deceased fathers money Sue (mother) is using to buy Lisa drugs. If you are also related then you are aware of this. You say nobody deserves to be abused at the hands of a family member; I agree with that.
    You wanna hear about a sad situation? That poor mother robbed me and my four year old son of everything we owned. She stole all our clothes, our beds, our blankets, our pillows, our television, our food, every family picture I ever owed....and when I got a court order for my LIFE to be returned to me and my baby...all I got was a urine soaked bed back, and nothing else. That woman stole from my baby!!! What kind of a person would that? I'll tell you what kind of woman would do that ... a nasty hateful witch. She moved me in, illegally kicked me out, kept everything I owned and left me and my baby with NOTHING....failed to acknowledge me or my son in my fathers obituary and had the nerve to name the family pet in the obituary. My dad had two children and one grandchild: Laura, Leon & Jordan and that witch didn't give us a dime after he passed. She wouldn't even allow me in the hospital to see my father while he was dieing, on life support. Instead she keeps all the money, passes it out to all her kids and grandkids and we didn't get a penny lol. Sue always gave Lisa the money to go to He Aint Here in Lake Station to buy crack. How about buying me and my baby new beds n clothes, and replace the stuff she robbed us of. Yes, Sue is going to bail Lisa out (with my dad's money) like she always does and Sue is Lisa's number one enabler, but me and my baby could use some of that money to live on instead of her buying Lisa crack and vicodines 24/7. I have school loans I need to start paying on and some of (my dads) money would come in handy at this time in my life. It's not easy being a single mom w/no supports. Karma is about to happen, and I'm not one bit sad about Lisa beating her up...after what she did to me and my 4 year old son. Not sure who you are, but I can't wait until Lisa is released...so she could finish what she started...i'm sorry!! .You don't steal a baby's bed, clothes, toys and everything the babies mother needs to raise that baby. I hope you followed along because that's not even the half of what that woman did to me and son. The biggest thing of all...she stole my dad from me after he cried and begged me to be in his life. I tried to have a relationship with him but was unable to because I couldn't handle the wicked witch of the west.

Sue; I have some school loans you could help me pay off using my deceased biological fathers money. At least, my dad's money would go for a good cause, and not for your kid's drug habit.

  8. jbaily103,, the lawyers are the ones getting most of the money. The inmates will get peanuts compared to what the lawyers are getting. I think that if you spent 1 week in jail....you would know what this lawsuit stood for; until then you dont have a clue. When you take a poop...use your fingers to wipe like the inmates are forced to do.

  9. I can't wait to cash my check, and I'm glad that armymom's money is going into my pocket. There are currently more lawsuits against this jail that you don't even know about. If you want to be mad at anybody..be mad at the staff who are causing these lawsuits.

  10. Just to let everybody know.....we are suppose to get an update by mail about settlement payouts in Feb 2013 according to the law firm....just hung up with them. Payouts should begin in summer 2013 and could take up until Dec 2013 to receive our monies.
    It's funny how all these ppl who never been arrested are making this settlement their business. The rude things I have read is outrageous. I was arrested in March 2012, and when I was released all my clothes were missing. The jail gave me another inmates clothes to wear home because my clothes..somehow...disappeared. If you've never been in this jail, then you do not know how ppl are being treated in LCJ. Why don't you get arrested on purpose...so you can get your butt beat for no reason, or stripped naked for days at a time. It 's the jails fault they got sued, and if you're mad because you have to foot the bill then that sounds like your problem because you couldn't imagine how ppl are treated and beaten in there for no reason. Even the Indiana Department of Justice filed suit against the LCJ because the jail was sited for 99 violations. These inmates deserve every dime they get and if you don't like it, too dern bad for you.
