  1. What??? Cut city employee hours and wages???? That's very considerate of you! We all have bills to pay and families to feed! The first thing certain people want to do is take down the people at the bottom. Do you even think about people's lives when you make statements such as that? That is a horrible thing to suggest. So many people are struggling just to make ends meet and keep their homes and you want to put city employees out of work! Shame on your lack of compassion!!!!!

  2. My heart goes out to Corey's entire family. I can't imagine the pain of losing one's child! I've raised four and when I hear about such a loss it just wrenches my heart. I am so sorry. God has a plan for each of us and we never know from one day to another what is in store. Some one posted a negative comment about dropping kids off at the beach. When I was growing up, as a teenager, we use to catch a bus to go to the beach almost daily! You simply can't be with your children every minute of every day, and even if you were, that is not a guarantee that nothing will happen to them. There is no guilt here...simply God's will. Hold on to his memory and he will always be in your lives by continuing to live within your hearts.

  3. First of all I want to say how very funny the letter is! Second of all, please people....lighten up! If it's not depressing and tragic then it shouldn't be printed???? It's refreshing to read a little humor in the paper from time to time. And, last but not least, this one is specifically directed to "What Me Worry", you must work for the Post Tribune! Bla, bla, bla! I happen to like the Times! You're just mean. I enjoyed this little article!

  4. This is so horrible! My deepest condolences to the family. It is such a tragic loss. I will keep you in my prayers. I see kids horseplaying on the tracks in Hobart every day. The other day I watched one boy lay down across the tracks. Parents, PLEASE stress, to your children, that the tracks are not a play area! My heart goes out to Chloe's family.
