- How about the last time the top 2% pay 80% of all federal income tax and now just about 1/2 the population doesn't pay any tax? Is that what you deem fair and balanced? How is that fair? The people being exploited here are those that are working and actually paying taxes and are screamed at daily by people like you and greedy politicians. Everyone should have to pay something towards national defense, public safety, etc. Not just the "rich". The world I live in is unfortunately becoming more and more like la la land as the public education system produces more and more commies espousing the sentiments you articulated.

- It's good to be the king, isnt it? Some on the council just realized that stop loss insurance exists? Wow, simply amazing--not unbelievable. We really elected these people? BTW, when do we as the taxpayers get the proceeds from the hospital returned to us? Oops, I forgot! It's THEIR money--right? How dare anyone question THEIR spending decisions! And, no, county council members, I don't want to pay for more parks, expanded entitlement programs, or more perks for government workers now making more than their "counterparts" in the private sector who also pay their salaries. I fully expect the council to blow it and spend all of the hospital money on THEIR priorities while not returning a penny to those of us paying the bills. The arrogance on display is stunning. Good for Mr. Biggs, he called it as it is.
