1. I consider myself to be apathetic when it comes to all things Hammond/Mayor/Etc. This puts me in a unique position to see the big picture, both sides if you will. That being said, it looks equally as piteous when a commenter flocks to an article having anything to do with Hammond/Mayor/Etc. to kiss A and play defense (not to mention being the first to comment before the haters even arrive! lol.) At least the "McDermott haters" have some substance or style in their comments, unlike yours which is unintelligent and typical. And this is what we call "Getting owned."

  2. I used to throw my children's birthday parties at Oak Ridge Prairie. It is such a nice park, and we all had a great time. The last 2 years however, my guests and I were given attitude by the young lady working at the booth when you pull in. We are a calm crowd, and we were never unruly and cleaned up after ourselves. Her nasty attitude was unwarranted, and left such an impression on us that we remembered who she was the following year and were upset we had to deal with her again. She was worse the 2nd time. She is the reason I stopped having 2 birthdays a year there, so LC Parks want to have a discussion with their employees about their attitudes. If nobody wants to spend money there, Ms. Attitude won't have a job.
