- With Mr. Higgs hanging out at that particular bar for years with the drug sales, prostitution and under age drinking going on it makes you wonder what his involvement and motive really is. Is there a chance that he is profiting from the illegal activities that go on at the same place that is rumored to be selling firearms even remotely possible? The same Mr. Higgs that drove his car through another bar in his neighborhood and said he just wasn't feeling well that day? The same Mr. Higgs that has had his council district go to pot because he grants only special favors to his closest of friends? Makes you wonder..

- I have also heard Councilman Markovich refer to a Hispanic man that was in Robertsdale as a "BEANER". I serve in the city of Hammond as a police officer and am very disappointed to have Mr. Markovich as one of my councilmen. He seems to find a reason to be against evrybody for everything unless you are the person that happens to be buying his lunch or paying for his coffee.

- Councilman Opinker funds the Henry Unit which allows for additional police protection in his district more than any other council person. He is very good when it comes to assisting the police whenever called uopn and the other councilmen should follow his lead. He does a wonderful job and Hammond is a better place because of him.
