  1. I pray for the family of this beautiful young lady who lost her life senselessly. I hope that God helps them through this difficult time. As for those who wish to send this young man to the electric chair. Will this bring this young girl back? How will this bring closure to her family? A life for a life mentality is what we have on the streets now. Putting blood on their hands won't change this horrible crime. I pray for strength, love, peace for them and our communities. Nothing will ever change until we do. May God bless them and give them strength.

  2. Best masa ever. That was the only place my mom bought her masa from. Every time I pick up my
    masa for Christmas you hear stories from people of how far they traveled to pick up masa from La Pasadita. So if you want to keep you tradition of tamale making going strong, start with people who make masa the traditional way. Great flavor and easy to work with. If its not a tradition it's a good time to start a new tradition in your house. This is defiantly a family activity.

I hope this story give hope to other children that are in the same situation. We always hear about all the bad things that our youth do. It is like a breath of fresh air when we hear about the others that do good. Continue the good work and follow the path that God leads you to.

  5. Scum are those that are being arrested by the police. Honest hard working residents don't feel intimidated by the police. Only real criminal (gang bangers & the real scum) feel intimidated by our police They know if police & law enforcement agencies continue doing a good job. They will need to find a whole some where to hide. That day can't come soon enough

  6. Job well done! I hope to see this on a regular basic. We have still so many hard working good people who live in these towns. We just need get rid of the gang bangers that are tring to distroy them. I would love to see city return to what they used to be. But to do this everyone needs to become diligent, report when you see something wrong. It not just the police who needs to step up we ALL need to do our part.

  7. Glad to see he gets such pleasure with his garden. I also have fruits & veggies in my garden. I wish I could have a neighbor like him to give me advice on my garden. Just picked up a greenhouse hope to put it up this weekend. I would love to see such a well established garden, he could even give a class to share his knowledge. I also planted kiwi plant but not sure how to prune it. Best part about gardening is sharing with friends. Hoping to get as good as him one day :)
