  1. The cops were called to my house last September. I live in Valparaiso. I have a dog that is the size of two footballs. He was barking and running to the officer and he didn't shoot my dog. so what does that say about this cop? my dog doesn't listen real well. we told our dog to sit, to come, everything and he still continued to jump on the cop. I am very sorry that this family lost their home, and now their loss of their family pet. i hope the truth is revealed.

  2. Well in order to figure out why they did it, they needed to punish them first. so what they said they wanted to do, didn't happen. but I agree that parents, schools, and the medial all play a role in the development of the child. I hope whatever these parents were doing wrong, get fixed in the end, and these girls get some help.

  3. No one is judging anyone. we are simply stating what it looks like from this side of the story. we have our opinions thats why we can comment on things like this.

  4. Nope. There would be another lawsuit. So either way this school would have a lawsuit. I'm glad the school did what they did with these girls. They need to be taught with their wrongful actions with come consequences

  5. im not sure, but it doesn't look good for his close acquaintance. i hope they look into it further. It sounds too fishy

  6. that would be nice, but you will always have those certain people who will neglect Facebook and other social media networks. It should start with the parents. The parents need to teach their children on how to use these networks, and have consequences for when they don't follow the rules. I am all for their punishment, the school had rules against cyber bullying and thats exactly what the partook in. Cyber bullying. yes, we all say things like "i could kill him I'm so upset", but we say those things in the privacy of our own home, office, etc. these girls made the mistake to talk about this over Facebook, a public domain, where everyone can see what they wrote. i think their punishment is fair, they broke a rule, they threatened innocent people. and cause a girl and her sister to miss school because of this said "joke". it didn't sound like joking when they were going into detail on how they were gonna kill these kids.

  7. why would his "close acquaintance" just drop him off on the shoulder of the road? they had an argument, and this acquaintance just dropped him off........ then turned around and went back..... this sounds sketchy. I don't believe for a second that foul play is involved. they better investigate this further.

  8. I agree with you Mark, every single bit of it I agree with. All to often you see teenagers committing suicide or taking a gun to school to get revenge against those kids who bully or threaten them. What the school did is justifiable. Parents need to teach their children with their actions and words are consequences. If those parents were on the receiving end of the "hit list" they wouldn't be taking this lightly, I guarantee it, and lets say something did happen to those students, this would be an even bigger ordeal. The school did what was right in order to protect their students. There are rules for a reason, if you don't follow them, there will be consequences, especially with something as serious as planning to kill someone. They make those parent/student handbooks for a reason, and they make the child and parent sign those forms for a reason.

And yet with the whole ACLU having a lawsuit against the school, is bologna. There are laws that have been passed in different states that are to prevent these types of things from happening. cyber bullying that is. And her comes the ACLU with a hot lawsuit against a school for preventing further issue with these girls. I hope the school comes out on top in this case, and the parents of these girls, and the girls learn a lesson

  9. thank you, some one with some sense. if those parents where on the receiving end they would understand why this is such a big deal. Not only did they threaten them, those parents of the kids could turn around and say it was a premeditation of murder. which is horrible but look at all the school shootings, and teen suicides due to bullying on the internet. let this be a lesson to all young teens when it comes to Facebook, its not private. what you say, has consequences. Especially when you say you want to kill someone because they are ugly, what child says that....? these parents better realize that what their children did, doesn't deserve just a slap on the wrist and "no Facebook for month" this is a serious matter. treat it like one.

  10. i applaud that school for taking action like that. Joke or no joke, this is WRONG! no matter how you twist it. When you post something on Facebook, almost everyone can see it. Let this be a lesson to all the middle schoolers, and high schoolers that your actions on Facebook, (or anywhere else) have consequences. If you threaten someone, you better be certain there will be consequences to your actions. Especially since cyber bullying has become a problem in the last couple of years. I hope these girls have learned their lesson and don't continue to abuse Facebook. I hope the parents soon realize the consequences of their child's actions as well. The parents saying the school blew this out of proportion is just sickening right there is your reason for a lot of issues with kids these days. You treat your children that their actions have consequences and when you break rules, you must accept those consequences, no ifs ands or buts about it.
