- Kind Sir. Yes. You see it will not stop here. A route from here would be established to go into Canada. Just wait. You will see. None of this would be done for "the people." Please research for yourself. Seek first to understand.

- It is a conneecting route from other states to bring cheap goods up from Mexico. And we are paying for it. The Chinese are now building factories and producing products in Mexico. Saves the boat ride. A guy I know who spends a lot of time in Mexico says the Chinese presence there is growing rapidly. The government does not want this for the good of the people. It is for the good of corporations that the Repubs & Democrats care so much about.

- Great response. Henry Kissinger has been behind the scenes and not so behind the scenes acting to promote globalization for years. The two wings have done nothing to stop it. Getting people emotional and making them not be able to think critically is what polotics are all about. Blame the other all the while heading in the same direction.

- One mfr. I spoke to in my career field told me when he was in Mexico; the Chinese were building manufacturing plants at a fast rate. Our tax dollars are going to build all the superhighways to get those goods here and to Canada. Where is Pete? No union votes to fight for?

- The prison systems, like war, are big business for companies in the private sector that are politically connected. You think the jails are overcrowded now? Wait. Prisoners = $$$. It opens the system to even more corruption. This will be a mess if it happens.

- Organizations that accept Federal funds must document their affirmative action practices. So this could be considered discrimination depending on what side you are on. Affirmative action was created in the sixties and in my opinion has outlived it's usefulness. All of our youth in America, race aside, have a difficult time finding summer jobs. Illegal immigration is a large cause of this. Remember when a kid could go to McDonald's and get a job for the summer or have a flexible schedule during the school year? Next time you go into a McDonald's, or any type of service business, look around. Go to Home Depot and see their wall of spanish speaking workers photos. Go to you tube and see the video of the people protesting because their kids cannot find summer jobs in California. Not on the news.
