  1. PT article of yesterday's court session is now up - much better writing than the Times as far as details and descriptions. I do see where DNA was collected from both Amanda and Dustin, but the PT article states more about those issues.

    Sooo - they didn't take any DNA from Dustin?? No wonder that none appears...

    Agree that all possible evidence should have been saved - that being said, any fly eggs could certainly have lodged in her hair as she was being dragged by it to her final disposal point.

  8. Movinon - convictions CAN and are made on circumstantial evidence only. The judge will give further direction to the jury regarding the evidence; however, MANY convictions result from this type of evidence. The sum of the total is always greater than the parts...

    I also believe that there may have been others involved - e.g. family; however, I do believe Dustin McCowan is guilty - as in, he pulled the trigger.

    Where is the blood? If she had already been shot (and was already deceased) prior to moving her to the wooded area, there was not likely to be alot of blood - as mentioned by others on this forum. As also noted, there was blood on the sweatshirt - minimal, probably.

    Where did the shirt come from? Who knows, at this point. Don't know if I'm correct on this or not - however, I thought I saw photos of him on one of their "support" or "justice" pages showing Dustin in an orange shirt.

    I also believe this is the first time we have heard that marijuana and alcohol were involved, or suspected.

    I honestly do feel for all the families involved - it must be heartbreaking to live this. You just never know when tragedy can strike your family...

    May Justice be served.

  10. MOTIVE???? Everyone ought to read the latest Post Tribune report from today - per that report, only basically referenced in the Times Reporting - McCowan did not believe that Amanda was not pregnant - even though confirmed not to be. The details provided are very telling, in my opinion. The article in the PT is a must read and shows more details into his comments and what I believe is a motive for the murder. What are your thoughts?
