- As a homeowner along the "preferred route," I am voicing my opposition as well. I find it interesting that last week, the media reported on "land owner" meetings, yet those of us within the 2,000 foot route were not informed in advance nor have we been contacted about the impact this un-needed roadway will have on our properties and quality of life. What makes anyone think that trucks would go that far south to take a toll-road when they don't use the IN Tollroad, which is just a few miles north of the 80/94 and I65 interchange? Also, IF they did, it would just move the bottle neck south of Rt 30 to where I65 goes down to two lanes. To block our crossroads, possibly slow down emergency response and negatively impact our environment for this moneypit would be irresponsible.

- Those of us whose homes and tranquility will be destroyed do not want it. We moved here to get away from all of that. (If you think we'll get "rich," you're delusional). I drive I65 South from 80/94 every day and the southbound traffic is congested enough already. What do you think is going to happend to I65 when/if they try diverting traffic from 80/94 to this new "expressway"? You'll spend even more time sitting in worse delays. If anyone would use a single brain cell on the big picture, they'd have realized that already! How 'bout we build a roadway through YOUR neighborhood instead??

- My experience with Branya's was equally as bad. I ordered a cake for my son's 9th birthday. It was to be banana cake with chocolate filling and themed for the Chicago White Sox. What I got (for my $40) was an inedible, dry, flavorless cake with thin off-white icing and BROWN "accent" icing that looked like he'd decorated his own birthday cake. Branya's never did reply to my complaints, nor offered any amends. (I will say that the muffins I bought on impulse when picking up the cake were delicious, though).
