- Being a concerned parent myself I was assured by several students that watched the persons accused change gloves between each student. Another misconception on the first person comment was that combs were used. There were never any combs used on the students. I personally saw (when I picked up my child who was infected with lice) that they were using wooden sticks that were disposed of with the gloves after each student. Although I am disappointed and frustrated by the expense and time consuming task of dealing with this problem, I commend Peifer Elementary at their methods of trying to contain this problem.
