- As a student of Kahler Middle School, I feel it is unthinkable that I eat at an unsanitary lunch table because the staff doesn't clean it. One day I brought 2 wipes to help clean our table because it hasn't been clean in a couple of days. When I asked the lunch lady if she could clean the gravy I couldn't clean she SCREAMED, "I didn't hear a please come out of that mouth!" and walked away. Then just today there was apple sauce left on our table from the earlier lunch group and one of my friends asked the lunch lady if she could clean the apple sauce. Then, she replied, in a direct quote, "I am not your maid." Then walked away as if it wasn't her job. Not only is there a problem with the staff, but the quality of the food itself. Pizza that nobody likes served EVERY Friday. Another example is the amount of food has reduced such as 2 Bosco sticks reduced to 1 1/2 bosco sticks. Also 2 beef tacos now 1 beef taco. Nachos- reduced meat and only 1 bag of chips instead of 2. I hope that someone of authority sees this comment and takes it into consideration on how to run a lunch room.
