  1. The comments regarding this issue are rather surprising. I would think the contractor who poured the pad should have obtained a permit or atleast questioned whether such a pad is acceptable for the neighborhood. In doing so, I suspect the ordinance issue would have been identified at that time. Taking such action and then seeking approval later is not the proper way of approaching this issue.

    If there is an ordinance preventing such structures on residential properties then that is what should be enforced.To all the "pro" commentors out there I suspect you might feel different if this had occured next to you (or worse if it were something else that was constructed without approval.)
