What is required is honest politicians that want to do the right thing and don't miss spend money entrusted to them. There are plenty of contractors to do the specialty work but you have to contact them not spend the money then whine that you can't fix the building

Maybe I missed something but isn't it illegal to spend funds specified for repairs on operating costs? Even if you go back and change the law after the fact. So who is on the way to jail and how much of their stuff can be auctioned off to recoup the bad faith theft of tax dollars.
I believe it is time for a federal prosecutor to review the case. With what has been spent and what is newly appropriated totaling $1/2 million maybe it is time to elect people that have business experience rather than a family member in the system.
