Why is this called a knee jerk reaction but all the gun laws recently passed by colorado and conn.were just the greatest thing since sliced bread. Beacuse your end game is to make sure you get everybodys gun, but you will only get the law abiding citizens guns because we are the only ones who follow the law. Why is it so hard for you people to understand that criminals are criminals because they do not care about nor do they follow the laws. So in the end the only people who will have them will be the cops and criminals. And why is there nothing being done about the mental issue of these shooters, all were on some sort of anti-depressent with god knows what kind of side effects but instead of going after that they choose to make it more difficult for everybody to get a gun and ammunition to protect themselfs. I would much rather have gun in my hand than a cop on the phone. And we have had backround checks for gun since at least 1996 so why is this even an issue, it is just to make it sound like people go out by guns in dark alleys and out of trunks of cars, that is hollywood people not real life, get a grip! Plus all of these mass shooting have occured in gun free zones, why because the shooter knew nobody would be able to shoot back. remember a very popular leader once said you cannot control the people untill you disarm them, then he went on to murder millions.

I agree with Harry Truman that there is not a dimes worth of difference between the two parties, they both lie, cheat and steal to get elected then do whatever they want once in office. You can always tell when politician is lieing, just watch and see if the lips are moving.

there are more and better jobs than silicone valley type jobs, only a small percentage ever get those special jobs in silicone valley, 75% of those jobs are not much better than minimum wage. besides I would rather actually produce something. I know I will be looking forward to seeing new jobs coming to our state instead of shipping them out to some other state ot worse yet mexico or china.

If the union wants to make an automatic deduction for its members they can do it through the bank after the member sets up the account to do so. We all do it for many of our monthly bills. then the member can see how much they are paying for that lack of representation they get. This is all about nothing, just an excuse to get you face out there to be seen like you are actually doing something when not actually doing anything.

I am a life long registered democrate and I did not vote this fool the second time and may be a long time before I vote democrate again. this fool has set race relations back 50 years with his constant attack on anything not of color. And the rest of the liberal media and dumbocrates have been too afraid to say anything. At least the GOP have had the guts to stand up the double standard. Blacks think everybody owes them something for something our forefathers did more tha 200 years ago, time to move on fools because you are the only thing hold yourselfs back.
