I too have had problems with the Hobart Y. They should take notes from the other area YMCA's. Hobart offers few classes, and seem to be all about the money. I have been a member in the past but will NEVER sign up with them again. Portage, Valparaiso - further away but so much better by far. Maybe the management needs a shakeup at Hobart.

Just because they switched to Epic a few short years ago, it doesnt make Community a better hospital. ALL hospitals use some form of electronic recording system for their reports, etc - FPH is just the last of the Franciscan Alliance to be converted. And when its time for the annual Best of the Region voting again - it would be nice if hospital employees werent allowed to vote for their own hospital. Mostly because when I worked there, we were bombarded DAILY to repeatedly vote for Community so they would win. Not a very fair vote in my humble opinion.

I agree he is the adult and should know better. He is definitely wrong here - but these 14 year old girls need some adult supervision as well. They encouraged him - they asked him to send a picture of himself. TOLD him to go to the bathroom where he would be alone - they were not completely innocent here.

Just because you are more educated than someone else, that doesn't necessarily make you smarter. It certainly hasn't made you kinder.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but isn't this program to help feed those children that would otherwise be going without lunch? If you can afford for your child to go to the pool you can afford to give them a peanut butter and jelly sandwich yourself. Another case of taking advantage of a free handout - and I'm tired of supporting freeloaders.
