- while I am glad Riley Choate has fully admitted what he did to his own son, I wonder what happened to the rest of the kids? There has been no mention of them. This person claiming to be related to Riley Choate is commenting out of anger, no one really knows who this person is, it could even be the fiance' releasing anger, if anyone here was smart, you wouldn't feed into that person's comments, they are just commenting to get a reaction for others. Riley Choate and Kristine Kubina are right were they belong, in jail, they will not be bonded out, they will no longer walk the streets of freedom ever again, what they did to that little boy was insane, horrible, discusting, inhumane. How does a parent do these things to any child let alone their own? My heart goes out to poor little Christian Choate, and what he endured. His life was taken far to short, at the hands of people who should have cared for him, loved him, instead, he received just the oposite, I think I spelled that word wrong, either way, please don't feed into this PrincessChoate person, you are only giving that person, just what they want, 20 young children were killed today, the unnecessary killing of young children needs to stop.

- I agree she doesn't seem to speak properly, but she is angry, and upset, Riley Choate finally fessed up to what he did to his own son, the girl, person, is just lashing out, seeking attention, and replying, commenting to this person is only giving them what they want, a reason to vent. Riley Choate will not ever walk freely again, he will not walk out on a bond, nor will Kubina, This person has very much mixed emotions, and very blind about a horrible, horrible person, Please don't antaganize her anymore or feed into her plight, thank you

- It is sad that you feel that Riley Choate is a good person, he killed a child, a young boy, your 'supposed' sibling. I have a sibling inwhich I hate, and will never forgive hie for the horrible things he has done, all I can say about him, is that at one time he was a good guy, a great brother, now, I don't now who he is and will never speak to him ever again. If someone was to kill him, I honestly do not know how I would feel, but I would never say at this point in time he is a good person. Riley Choate was a monster, a horrible person, What he did to his own son, inwhich he finally admitted the truth of how he abused his own son, does not make him a better person, it only says, he got a conscience, If you are indeed in school, your typing is horrible, your words are poor, and the use of Caps and lower casing is in poor choice of proper english, I can only say, by your comments, you are confused, upset over this man you believed to be a good man. I am not bashing you, not at all, but I do feel very sorry for you. I hope the best for you, graduate, move on to college, move on with your life, get over it. Riley Choate will never walk the streets ever again, and you really need to accept that fact, and the truth of who he is, and do right by yourself, be a better person. God Bless you, my sincere sympathy to you and your loss, turn the cheek, look the other way, and go on with your life, without being bitter to those that upset you.

- from what I read in The Times, Riley hasn't been sentenced yet, but he could get up to 80 years. I am though glad he finally admitted his guilt. He knows what he did, and when he first plead not guilty, I was so angry. I know his conscience will never be over what he did, but admitting his guilt that his own son died at the hands of his father, was the right thing to do. I do not understand how any parent could seriously abuse their child in such a horrific manner. He will rot in prison, and being a child killer, he is not safe in prison.

- do I blame Philpot for my child support not getting paid to my daughter? Why steal from child support payments? My child is 17yrs old now, my exhusband is nearly $80,000 in arrears for back support, which is a felony,,no one is going after him. Rmember the good old days when trust was a word that existed, now it's taking a person at their word. Dishonesty in government is no place for dishonesty,,makes a person wonder,,,,"why vote?" what if I voted for the dishonest in government? I sure would feel really guilty of helping putting someone like Philpot in office,,,sadly,,my votes of choice didn't win....

- I could never understand why anyone would brutalize a young child, or helpless baby. The child doesn't know right from wrong at such a young age,,it truly saddens me when fools have no self control. I, myself, dealt with a non-stop crying baby, and at many times found myself frantic because my girl wouldn't stop crying. I got no sleep, I felt she hated me. But I withheld handling her, so as to not shake her, I came to moments of distress that I had would cry over her, begging her to stop crying, doctors put her on colic meds that contained alcohol, my baby was high! It wasn't till I left my husband, moved back to my home state, took her to the doctor's only to learn she was suffering from asthma and her crying was because she couldn't breathe. My opinion, this young dad, (not father) may have been abused as a child, but it doesn't give him the right to do what he did. He needs help, and learn he needs to break the cycle of abuse. I hate the person, and I don't know him,,
