- Adonis Filer, Dean Danos, and Lamus Brown, are the only boys who have been "recruited" for the basketball team at BNI. Yet they still had Ronney Beamon, Matt Sandoval, Jose Rosario, Raymonte Tucker, Jon Bock, and others who were and still are phenomenal players. Do not just look at the "recruits" but also look at the other players who worked their butts off for that team to make it to sectionals. So YES they WOULD HAVE made it to the playoffs, and the REAL BNI players have won against all those other schools and they have still come out ahead of them and have won. So what if Brown wasn't in good academic standings at his other school? BNI is different. If their students aren't doing well academically they are required to meet with teachers and get tutored, (if they don't do so discipline always comes into place) and there are certain classes they take in order to make sure that students are where they should be academically and if they need help, help is given. They are still in TRYOUTS the season has not even started yet, and if he isn't were he needs to be academically then i agree with you and he should no be able to play unless he can keep his grades up. The principle is slipping up for either ignoring it completely or not doing something about it when she should have, because what they do not realize is that the STUDENTS are the ones who suffer the MOST because they will be the ones chastised for the actions of the administration.

- Mind your words, shame on you for saying that the BNI team would be horrible if it were'n't for the recruits taken in by Trost. I am not implying that he does so, but the BNI's boy basketball team would be one heck of a team and way better than the majority of the teams in Indiana even without the recruits and you all know that very well. It isn't just their talent that got them to state, it was their dedication and hard work. It is not fair and it is not right for all the boys on the team to suffer for the possible actions of someone else.
