- For those of you so vehemently opposed to this basketball court, I can only ask why. There are numerous other courts in the area and some in the nice, peaceful neighborhood of Lake HIlls as well. Sports Guy, instead of making assumptions about the family desiring this court, you might want to do some research and tell me where there is a public basketball court in safe walking distance from Lake Hills. This is Indiana. We only have a few nice months of weather and daylight to enjoy this court, so I highly doubt this will be a "daily" activity. This family already had a court in their previous home in St. John and although they probably would have been a hit, there was never a training camp going on. Yes there is an ordinance, and unfortunately not everyone had to comply. Let's not play favorites Town of St. John......
