It's really a shame that the town has just now realized that this project is over budget. I just don’t understand how they didn’t see this in the first place. So who suffers because of this? The kids and each and every one of those on the board that could not figure this out should be ashamed of themselves. Because not only did the kids loose out on the fall league this year and that was a joke in it self. One week we are having a league the next we’re not, oh wait we’ll join with another town or maybe we won’t. Then all of a sudden we have joined with Lansing. Now these kids are out of a summer league or go and play at another town and pay out of town fees as well as have more travel cost to the parents. What I think should really happen is these so called board members should have to explain why there is no summer baseball or softball to the kids and see the reactions on the kids face. Why should the parents have to explain the wrong doings of others?
