  1. I beg to differ with you. As long as the federal prosecutor works this case up right, as they usually do, these two will get some serious time. I'm guessing this one goes to Phil Benson. Judge Lozano is a no-nonsense judge. He will not put up with ANY nonsense in his court room (see above article "By contrast, Hillard, in red jail attire, rocked in the chair, sighed and frequently looked up at the courtroom ceiling while waiting for Rodovich to enter") and will drop the hammer on these two slugs. Public hanging would be more appropriate than serious jail time.

    I wonder if there's some holdover grudge between the Mayor and Jim Poling from the days they were both on CPPD, coupled with the Mayor's allegiance to a political ally (Palmateer)? Mayor Uran, a former CPPD officer AND President of the CPPD FOP, should know the position Jim Poling would take as President of the FOP when Palmateer was appointed to the Boar dof Safety, taking into consideration Palmateer's prior interaction with CPPD. This is going to get ugly.

  6. seriouslygetreal...you've obviously never had their lake perch then. The fried chicken is pretty good also, along with the relish plate. The interior is a little dated but generally the service and food has always been pretty good at a reasonable price. Just wondering what "area that had some class" you speak of since Teibel's customers travel from all over the N/W Indiana and Chicagoland area to eat there. Don't believe me? Check the license plates in the parking lot.
