- Mr Derek Miller I don't know who you are but us at Lake Station Little League truely appreciate your backing. You are very right about control, we at Little League where trying to work with the City, they insisted they needed concessions because they owned the fields, but that is what we use to buy our own equipment, pay umpires and maintain our League. See the City of Lake Station never told Little League they would pay for all of these needs and with their new City ran League they plan to purchase all of these things, we don't understand why? Why use our Cities tax money when we have been doing this on our own for 50 plus years? Again we appreciate your support and hope others step forward.
