  1. Ahh Mr. Smith, you can't fool us!
March 18, 2013 10:20 pm on Valpo Chamber named best chamber in Indiana
  2. Hey gus, it appears that you must have appeared in court at some point of your life in front of Judge Vaidik. Didn't the verdict turn out your way? Just to let you know, she hasn't been a County Judge since the year 2000....AND this arrest didn't occur in the jurisdiction over which she presided. This would be North County Court since it occurred in South Haven.

I do agree, it was a good job by the County Police!

  3. Mister Smith, what on earth does your vitriol against Mayor Costas have to do with the County Council meeting? By the way, that was a rhetorical question....

  4. Really people, how many governmental units do you see charging a user fee to view a public meeting via the Internet?

@ metalman: Is it true that you are the chairman of the Center Twp Democrats? I guess that would explain the hatred that you have for anybody Republican! The party shouldn't matter, this is just about providing a service to the public. Wait, I know, you're worried that someone may see two of our three new at-large councilMEN throw a tantrum on TV!

@Mister Smith: Does the term wackadoodle mean anything? Quoting your letter, "CONCLUSION Based on the foregoing, it is my opinion that the Board did not violate the ODL." This is verbatim from the Public Access Counselor's own pen!
November 13, 2012 10:36 pm on Porter County commissioners asked to broadcast meetings
  5. @metalman: Your vitriol is incredible, considering once again that this is about providing public service AND archiving of public meetings. Some people cannot make it to the meetings at the time they are scheduled but with this system maybe they can be uploaded to the new county website for viewing at YOUR desired viewing time!
November 13, 2012 9:52 am on Porter County commissioners asked to broadcast meetings
  6. @metalman: This is a project that has been discussed for several years. Many cities and counties, along with the State Legislature already do this. It truly provides a service to the public. Every point that you make against this project is baseless and ridiculous. Projects like this are examples of accountability to the public and transparency in government. Most citizens would applaud such an endeavor.

  7. Mister Smith, and I use the term Mister loosely, does everything that you post have to be derogatory? Does everything that you post have to be so disrespectful? This man was murdered by four people in his home and you are more interested in posting allusions toward a skin condition? Your politics were showing when you questioned if that was the same Jan Dick from the Valpo City Council. Your vitriol is what makes people call posters on these blogs "trolls."
November 11, 2012 8:27 am on Four arrested in connection with Michigan City slaying
  8. @ Mister Smith: nwipac.org is your home. Why don't you quit spilling out this cheezy .gif all over the Times sight, especially when your graphic statement has nothing to do with any article that you post the link on.
