  1. I have always thought softball should be a fall sport in high school in the midwest, it's just crazy playing in this kind of weather. And it's not just this season, it's every season. The first month is always cold.
    boys practice football b4 school starts, girls could do the same with softball, jeeze 99% of them are already playing all summer anyway.

  2. This i think is an invaluable training exercise. Hopefully never to be needed at an area school, or other hostage situation, but nice to know some of the responders have gone thru this.
    Oh and i am one of those nanny state liberals a lot of you bash here, just let me say my favorite line in the story was......"every shot is a dead man"....i see no reason to negotiate with terrorists if shooting them works just as well...although safety of any hostage is the goal.

  3. First off i won't treat you like HS journalism students, more like you are actual restaurant reviewers. Pizza is all about personal preference. Thin crust, thicker crust, deep dish. What you like maybe not be what others like.
    Sauce. I like *less* sauce. You give points off. So order your pie with extra sauce. Simple.
    Crust. I prefer a very thin crust. You give Pizza Hut the highest crust rating. Well they offer 4 different crusts. what type did you use to get your rating?
    Final score. Pizza Hut gets 4 out of 5 and their pizza costs about 50% less than Aurelio's. While i personally think all 3 of these places make terrible pizza, TERRIBLE!!, i would much rather pay 10 bux for a bad pie than 18. That being said, the best pizza value in the area by far is Little Caesars. All that being said, i would love to see you review more places. I know when i was in HS, my tastes we a lot different than they are now. Keep up the good work. How about hamburgers or mexican next time. I would love to see this as a regular feature.
