  1. Thank you for sharing this. It made me shiver when I saw it. Just shows what a scum he really is. I use the word scum because I can't even think of a word to describe how I feel about this picture. I have felt so much sorrow for Amanda's family and friends but this shows what they have had to put up with beyond the murder of their loved one. You can see the arrogance, the i'm better than you, the I'm above te law in his face. I am still shaking. More than before I hope he gets what he deserves while he is in prison. And I hope he gets it often!

  4. condition1a, that's all you have? People crack up all the time and it sounds like daddy mccowan is really close. His actions towards Mr. Bach when he was looking for his daughter and during the trial as it was reported. I would call 911 and ask for another officer to come if he ever stopped me. I don't trust him. That is how I feel, you don't have to agree with me and I really don't care if you do or don't, but my comment was not irrational.

  5. MY2CENTSAERFREE, I don't think he will shoot people at random, but one never knows. I would not want to be stopped by him, I would be very fearful of him. Plus, his credibility to do his job seems jeopardized. For someone that thinks this as a "stupid thing" why are you on here? Why did you comment?

  6. youpeoplerenuts, I feel sorry for you. You are living in a dream would. mccowan did it and his daddy helped cover it up. That will be the other arrest. So you think nccowan was sitting there saying geez there just happens to be an abandoned house and maybe the real killer hid Amanda's cell phone in there. Heck someone musta broke in to our house and found my daddy's gun, he found out it was missing when he was looking for his flashlight under our couch. Everyone hides loaded weapons under their couches. Oh and their house was for sale, everyone new that. Not!

    As for you not being related I don't believe that for a second. You need to face the fact that he has been convicted and sentenced to 60 years! I don't find it hard to believe at all that mccowan confessed, confided, or boasted his crime to other inmates. They do that to make themselves sound tough thinking it will keep them safe. Of course that won't help him in prison... he is young, nice looking, and fresh... some bubba will make him his girlfriend very quickly. Having a cop as a daddy will make him even more "popular".

  7. Here is the article from The Chesterton Tribune, 2-20-2013, which had much more information than we got in The Times or Post Tribune. Wade has quite a bit of info that he wouldn't have known if he was not told by mccowan. He also explains why he decided to testify. According to the article he had not yet been sentenced when he testified. Personally, as I stated before, I don't think he should get out in less than the 15 yrs he received and that goes for the 60 yrs that mccowan got too, he should have to serve every single day.

  8. Eduardo and upeoplearenuts, hmmm you both called me naive. Same person or just related. He sure seemed to know things that people wouldn't know unless they were told by mccowan. I don't agree with the fact Wade is getting 7 yrs off his sentence. He shouldn't get out a day before his 15 yr sentence is up. Just like mccowan should serve every single day of his 60 yr sentence. You can really tell who the relatives are!

  10. 1st it states " While Charles Wade was not promised anything for agreeing to testify in February against convicted murderer Dustin McCowan, he was rewarded Monday." So he did not get anything from the prosecutors. 2nd Wade is not getting out tomorrow, he will have to keep his nose clean for the remainder of his time. 3rd it does not take away that mccowan is guilty and was found guilty by the jury. I also want to add I don't agree with cutting a prisoners time for any reason and I wish that mccowan could of gotten the death penalty. Also, I hope that he is put in which ever prison is the farthest from his family so they have to make a lenghty trip to see him. Seeing Amanda is something her family and friends will never have the opportunity to do.
