1. The road was shut down for almost 5 hours because one of the dirvers had to be extricated from his vehical, have his leg amputated BEFORE they could finish pulling him out, and be air lifted to a Chicago hospital. Frankly having been a part of EMS for the last 5 years as well as dispatching trucks for the last 2 I think that's a rather remarkable time table. They had a heck of a job to do so have a little respect for all involved please.
