Some people are idiots and should keep their mouths shut if they don't know the facts. The real travesty here is that the guy that shot the girl only got four years! I watch both of these families grieve, month after month. You obviously have never lost a child. This man chose to drive on the wrong side of the rode, he got out, looked a Shane and then he chose to drive away without calling for help. He chose to drive with NO driver's license. Then he chose to dispose of the vehicle and avoid arrest for over a year. I hardly think any of it could be classified as an accident, do you? I'll bet not, if it was your child. My child was killed in an accident and it had none of these traits. DUH!!!!!!!!! He made a lot of choices, didn't he. Well now the people have made a choice! Keep him where he won't kill another innocent person! At least for 19 years. I'd have given him LIFE!
