- I had problems with my car last week and immediately took it in for service. I was very surprised when they called to tell me all the problems were from bad gas. The clerk at the gas station I purchased it from in Cedar Lake was quite rude, however the woman at BP's customer service was very nice. She took down all my information and told me to fax them my receipt & repair bills . I did all of that before the recall was even issued. My repair bills were just under $500. I was shocked to see that someone is filing a class action suit over this. BP is willing to cover the repair bills so what else could anyone possibly want??? They promised reimbursement within 30-45 days with proper documentation.......it's only been a week........give them a chance to keep to their word before dragging lawyers into all of this.
