1. "Sure wish people would really, truly consider the dangers of riding a motorcycle." That is the stupidest comment ever....especially in this case. What about the lady in the SUV who should have NOT been driving to begin with? Wasn't she acting dangerously? Wonder why she didn't have a license?? Hmmm...lost it for some reason? Then a child in the car with her? I can't believe they aren't prosecuting her for involuntary manslaughter and child endangerment. I hope the other family can heal...and then take her to court for all costs and emotional distress. The people on that motorcycle, RIP, are NOT the ones at fault here. Most of the time, those that ride motorcycles are not the ones at fault, period. There are exceptions, of course, but most people do not pay attention to motorcycles, period...or they don't care.

  2. I just wondered, though...why did that officer leave her car part way in the lane? Couldn't she have parked on the shoulder or is that procedure to park partly on the lane when pulling people over? I am not saying the semi driver wasn't at fault per se, but I have seen other officers pull people over safely without being in the lane of traffic.
