Unions are two faced in their support of Obama and the liberal socialist. now the members are complaining about the gun control efforts by this socialist group. You hit the nail on the head stokes, ever time Bobsr makes a comment he always leave out facts. The auto workers would not have lost their jobs the companies would have had to declare bankruptcy and reorganize. Obama just paid off the unions that supported him (or paid him off) and gave them our tax money. If the majority of Americans support stricter gun laws why did Harry Reed not let the senate vote on any of them? Oh ya and the sequester has caused mortars to exploded also, tell me Bobsr how is it we will spend more this year then last,even with the sequester, but nothing shut down or was severely hurt last year with less money?

RyBro, I hate to be the one who breaks this to you but Butterfield was and is still a lawyer, in fact his law firm did a lot of the city's work, bond issues etc. So, know a little about the subject before you accuse or make ludicrous accusations. It was butterfield who had city works working on his pool at his Glendale house or did you forget?? The mayor has no vote on monetary issues and this money is matched or paid a portion of by the redevelopment commission. Do you realize how hard it is to get grants when the feds want to always give the money to Gary? Valpo seems to be doing a good job of capturing money that would go to other areas that just goes through the motions and completes nothing..

Testing is a deterrent and could help with peer pressure problems. A kid could use his school testing as an excuse to not participate at a party or where ever.

Costas was told many times he was a bad politician because he did what he said he would do and even put the plan on paper. He is a fresh contrast to the good old boy Butterfield, who appointed all his friends as department heads, then was seen at the golf course most of the time. I have gone through many round-a-bouts without problems, however the 5 points may be cause for concern. Unless it's a lot larger then the others it may cause problems. I believe the only way to make these safe is to post signs to allow every other car (as in a rolling 4-way stop) to allow traffic to keep moving and keep people from "training" or just follow the guy in front of you through not allowing anyone to merge into the circle. Common courtesy dose not work, most have a "me first" attitude.

Oh, but Obama can give millions to Solindra and his Crony Capitalism pals, but trying to reduce our budget makes Wilder " cry or vomit." This appears to be an example of an Obama supporter receiving huge loans while ever-increasing numbers of student are in debt. Why aren't you concerned about this Mr. Wilder?
