- If it was one of your loved ones in an accident on 80-94, would you like them to wait how long for a helicopter to be dispatched, land, then take off to go to Illinois. (Which I think is more then 5-10 minutes). Instead of getting in the ambulance which in on the scene already and go to a more local trauma center. My vote wouldn't be in Gary thou. If we get a Trauma Center wouldn't they be just as qualified as Illinois doctors and nurses?
