- I guess the truly sad part here is that I've read that no one from Dustin's family has apologized to Amanda's family for any of this. They have been acting arrogant the entire time even though he was convicted. And there was evidence of a cover up, probably just not enough to go after him at this point.

- Hate to say this but I would probably try to protect my son too by covering things up. Cop or no cop - his parental instincts took over. I am in no way condoning what happened. Dustin got what he deserved. I am just talking as a parent here.

- You know what the difference is between a murder and Gary and a murder in Griffith? The difference is people are interested and will call police with tips if they know who this man is and will let the police know if they saw anything suspicious. In Gary, everyone turns their back and will not "SNITCH". And about all we care about is money, if you don't care about money then stop living off my hard-earned paycheck to collect your monthly check and foodstamps. Just withdraw.

- What a pile of horse____ this is. We already pay Indiana state tax, sales taxes on everything, property taxes, license plates, fees for everything and they still don't have enough money. Taxing us a county income tax is being double taxed by the state as far as I am concerned. One income tax per state should be all they are allowed to take. I smell a class action lawsuit.
