- Doug, McDermott is far from a Liberal. He is what us Liberals call a DINO (Democrat In Name Only). There is nothing about him that makes him a Democrat much less a Liberal. It's a shame that people look up to him and are intimidated by him to the point that they would sell their soul to the devil (McDermott) than to want a "real" Democrat to run the Lake County Democrat Organization. McDermott pads positions with his sheep, so he can get his agenda passed. He really needs to go back to the Republican Party, and Lake County Democrats need to take their souls back.

Why don't you look up how many days Bush went on vacation compared to the current president. Why don't you look up votes and bills that the Republicans have blocked. Why don't you look up what bills House Speaker Boehner wouldn't even allow to come up for a vote. The votes that Harry Reid wouldn't let come to the Senate floor were the ones that would cut Social Security that has nothing to do with our debt, Medicare and Medicaid. Do you know that there are more seniors on Medicaid than disabled and poor? Did you know that with President Obama's policies January's budget actually had a surplus? Nope because Fox News didn't report that. Unless you make $250,000 a year you won't have to worry about being taxed in Obamacare. I know you really hate those pesky facts because then you would have to admit that the Black guy in the White House is better than the rich White men you support. You better remember that black man won't take anything from you, but those rich white men want to take everything from you.

- Hey Bill you really don't know how our government works do you. First of all in order for a bill to pass in the Senate to be filibuster proof they must have 60 votes. Actually the Democrats passed a budget on March 23rd 50-49, but guess what? The Republicans blocked the bill. Yep once again they blocked a bill that would've helped our economy. They have to highest Filibuster rate in history. Why don't you look up what bills they've blocked before you say it's not their fault. Ryan's budget will cut Social Security which has nothing to do with our debt. He want's to cut Medicare, and Medicaid, while giving millionaires a $200,000 tax break. Really? You think it's not the Republican fault? It's not totally their fault it's also dumb, Fox News watching people like you that vote them in fault too.

- Hypocrites. Republicans say they want government out of their lives, but they are putting it smack dab right in the middle of the bodies of women. In the Constitution is states women have the right to choose. Who is going to take care of all the unwanted babies that will be born? What about those women that panic and abandon their babies, and leave them to die. Are the Indiana Legislators going to take care of them? Forcing a 12 year old raped either by a stranger or a family member to have a baby is not being Pro-Life. Are all you "so called" Pro-Lifers willing to have your taxes go up to support these children? Nope probably not because Pro-Life ends at birth. For you Anti-Choicers if you are against abortion here's an idea: Don't have one. You nor our government has the right to push beliefs on others. Hypocrites are all you are. The Indiana Legislators better tread very carefully or they will be facing lawsuits at the expense off all Indiana tax payers.

- If any of you think that this is only going to impact the poor just wait and see what happens. As for you that think those on Medicaid are lazy and want something for nothing well maybe you need to realize that their are disabled people including children, and A LOT of seniors that depend on Medicaid because they can't get nor afford regular healthcare. So instead of being close minded and selfish maybe you should look beyond the Fox News box. Pence and the rest of the Indiana Republicans in office are to ruining this state and put us into one of the highest poverty states in the country. We are falling in the same steps as Mississippi. You don't have to believe it but when it happens don't ask yourself how it happen. I blame every idiot that votes against themselves and votes these out of touch jerks in.

- Yep McDermott and his sheep. They all follow. He is a horrible chairman, and he is why the Democratic Organization in Lake County is such a mess. All he cares about is padding positions with his flock to get votes to go the way he wants. The committeemen in the Lake County town org.'s are his followers too because they all think they will move ahead if they suck up to him. This is why we have such a low voter turnout in Lake County. Same people playing the same games.

- I was in a car accident in July. After a blood test the women that hit me was found to be on illegal prescription drugs and was driving on a suspended license. She was charged with 4 counts 2 of which were DUI's. She totaled my car, and I've been going through therapy, epidurals, and probably more medical treatments. Judge Nicholas Schiralli let her plead out and they dismissed all charges except one DUI which they dropped to reckless driving. I was never called to testify to let anyone what her decision to get behind the wheel has done to my life. She got off on 6 mos probation and I think had to attend drug and alcohol classes. Tell me these DUI laws are nothing, but to make money and that is it. How could this Judge allow this, and not even call me to show how she had effected someones life.
